At Welfare & Empowerment Baluchistan (WEB), our programs and initiatives are designed around core thematic areas that align with our mission to promote justice, equity, and sustainable development. These focus areas guide our interventions across Baluchistan:
We promote awareness of fundamental human rights through workshops and training sessions focused on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the Constitution of Pakistan, CRC, CEDAW, and other international treaties. Our aim is to empower individuals to recognize, claim, and defend their rights, particularly in the context of gender-based violence.
We support communities with access to basic health services, maternal and child healthcare, family planning awareness, vaccination campaigns, and general health education. In education, we promote primary, non-formal, and technical education, especially for youth and women, to build skills and open doors to opportunities.
WEB creates sustainable economic opportunities for marginalized groups through vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and livelihood support. Our goal is to help individuals and families become economically self-reliant and resilient.
We provide free legal aid and promote legal literacy so that marginalized populations understand their rights and can seek justice. Our legal support services bridge the gap between vulnerable individuals and formal legal systems.
WEB actively engages in evidence-based advocacy for the rights of women, children, laborers, peasants, and those affected by disasters. We work with civil society and policymakers to influence positive change through research and lobbying.
We promote democratic values, citizen participation, and accountable governance. Our initiatives aim to strengthen community engagement in decision-making processes and build trust in democratic institutions.
In times of disaster or crisis, WEB provides timely and effective emergency relief, including shelter, food, health services, and psychosocial support to affected populations, with a focus on vulnerable groups.
